KETU SOUTH — Madam Xornam Favour Ignatius-Dei, the current Deputy Women’s Organizer of the Ketu South Constituency, has declared her intention to contest for the position of Women’s Organizer in the constituency,
expressing confidence in her ability to provide stronger leadership and greater opportunities for women.
Speaking with the
Nogokpo TV News Desk, Madam Ignatius-Dei said she is determined to make a significant difference in the lives of women within the constituency. She boldly stated, “I want a big gap,” emphasizing her desire to win the election with a clear margin and secure a strong mandate from delegates.
Her decision to contest is largely influenced by her experience and activities as Deputy Women’s Organizer.
During her time in office, she has actively engaged women across the constituency and contributed to initiatives aimed at strengthening their participation in political and social activities.
One of the notable areas of her work has been the organization of workshops for women within the constituency. The workshops have created opportunities for women to acquire knowledge, build their capacities and discuss issues affecting their personal development, empowerment and participation in political and community activities.
Madam Ignatius-Dei has also demonstrated a commitment to supporting vulnerable people in society. During one of her birthday celebrations, she extended her gesture beyond personal celebrations by supporting inmates, demonstrating her belief that leadership should be accompanied by compassion and service to humanity.
Her supporters believe these activities reflect a leadership style based not only on politics but also on service, community engagement and concern for the welfare of others.
As she prepares for the contest, Madam Ignatius-Dei says her ambition goes beyond simply occupying the position of Women’s Organizer.
